Annie Sloan studied Fine Art in the 1970s and has spent the decades since shaping how the world thinks about decorative paint. She has authored 26 books — beginning with what's widely considered the industry bible on paint techniques — and invented the now-ubiquitous Chalk Paint. She has been named one of Britain's most influential female designers.
