  • Leaves
  • 30x30cm Lino Sheet
  • Stippler
  • Lino cutting toolset
  • Emulsion or chalk paints
  • Lining paper
  • Masking tape
  • Padded table
  • Tea towel

Lesson summary

  • I gathered fallen oak leaves and used them as a template to make my pattern.
  • I suggest purchasing your lining paper before beginning your design.
  • My lining paper is 52cm wide and my lino block is 26cm wide
  • Sketch on paper first, then transfer the design onto the lino with tracing paper.
  • You have the option of doing a brick repeat or a half drop repeat.
