Lesson summary

  • My bedroom has been wallpapered in my Marigold print in pink and blue, which can be purchased here.
  • The wallpaper combines a very important Indian flower, a marigold, with a traditional British colour palette.
  • I suggest using a large wallpaper print to help open up space in a small room.
  • My Bagru fabric in pink is used for the curtains. You can find it here.
  • The headboard is upholstered in 'Stripe' in blue.
  • The cushions are a mix and match of different sizes and shapes and have been covered in 'Garden Path' in rose, blue and copper colourways.
  • The red fabric on the side tables is 'Garden Path' in rose.
  • I ground the space by combining dark wood with more contemporary wallpaper.
  • My 'Dash' pattern was hand block printed on the green lampshade, which was later tied around an existing John Lewis shade.
  • The blue lampshade was Dabu printed in Bagru, India. This is a mud resist block print and can be bought here.
