Lisa shows you how to buy items that can multitask across different rooms, how to check quality on vintage furniture (like dovetailed drawers and solid frames), and how to reupholster or upcycle pieces to give them years of extra life. You'll also learn why keeping the 'bones' of your home neutral is the most sustainable long-term decorating choice.

Yes — there's a dedicated lesson on creating a digital moodboard using free tools like Canva, including how to upload images, screenshot paint colours, remove backgrounds and layer textures. Lisa shares the actual moodboard she made for her glass garden room, then takes you into the finished space so you can see exactly how the plan translated into reality. It's a practical, step-by-step process you can repeat for any room in your home.

Rather than teaching trend-led design, Lisa focuses on helping you create a home that reflects your own personality, memories and way of living. You get real behind-the-scenes tours of her own dining room, kitchen, coffee table and garden room, plus filmed shopping trips to a house clearance warehouse and a French antiques shop where she talks you through what to look for and what to pay. The course also includes practical resources in the notes, such as recommended independent artists, online framers, courier services and plate hangers.
