Lampshades

Lampshades are an excellent way to introduce colour and pattern into your home. Molly covers everything from gathered lampshades to skirt lampshades and guides you through how to make a lampshade with your very own print.

  • My lampshade kit in Wave Pink or Wiggle Blue. Alternatively, you can buy individual pieces.
  • 25cm Circular Lampshade Ringset
  • Self-adhesive lampshade panel size 801mm x 238mm
  • Lampshade
  • Sticky tape
  • Pot of bespoke eco-fabric ink
  • Lino block mounted on plywood
  • Stippler
  • Lino cutting toolset

  • A lampshade is a brilliant way of bringing colour and pattern into your home.
  • I use Permaset Aqua Fabric & Textile Screen Printing Ink in Scarlet.
  • For a skirt lampshade hem, the top and bottom of a block printed piece of fabric.
  • Printing paper can be used to make lovely lampshades.
  • I suggest taping the panel to the table with masking tape.
  • Consider the size of your work and how it will fit on the panel.
