Painting the Wall-Mounted Kitchen Cabinets

My kitchen doors are painted, but there's a wall-hung cabinet I want to tackle too - and I'm going to take the opportunity to experiment with colour.

Audition Your Colours

I'm using the 1L pots, however the small pots are best for experimenting with different colours - you might also be surprised just how far the paint will go too.

Don't be afraid to test out colours on your piece of furniture. Anything you don't like can be painted over, and there's really nothing like seeing how the colour will look on the actual surface.

When testing out different colours, it's important to stand back and look at how they appear in different lights. Go away, and revisit the piece later to see it afresh in case you get any new thoughts.
