A Note on Incorporating Art

Art for me doesn't have to mean expensive - it's simply what I put on my walls. This can be anything from my children's art through to a piece of fabric I like.

  1. Mirrors go hand in hand with art, and should be considered on an equal footing.
  2. I really only want one mirror in a room, unless that room is particularly large.
  3. If I can, I use mirrors as a way to lighten a dark room. I do this by placing the mirror in an area where light hits and it will reflect the light into the room.
  4. Art fairs are a good place to start to build an art collection.
  5. Buying limited edition prints is a good way to make buying art more affordable.
  6. Flea markets are a wonderful place to source affordable art.
  7. A good tip is to buy photo books, carefully remove the images and then frame them.
