A Visit to Robert Kime
Join me as I pay a visit to the Robert Kime showroom in South West London – a place I find endlessly inspiring and always full of treasures. This time, I'm looking to source some furniture with the help of Head of Antiques Christopher Payne.
Once you've decided on your colour scheme and fabric choices for a project, you'll want to start looking for special gems to make the room feel unique and full of character. Shops such as Robert Kime are brilliant places to visit for inspiration and to find items you might not necessarily have thought of yourself.
At most antique shops, you are able to have pieces altered to better suit your requirements. Just enquire with the showroom assistants and they will be able to advise what might be possible.
Take your mood boards and floor plans with you, so that you have measurements to hand and references to colours and fabrics within the scheme.
