What Do You Want From Your Home?

• Try to free yourself from what's been holding you back.
• Think about where you see yourself going, and why you do this.
• Be open to change and opportunities that may give rise to change.
• Don't aim for perfection, don't get bogged down by creating a perfect picture.

Trend

• Being trend-led can be very dangerous as it is the death of authenticity.
• Focus on yourself, and don't get distracted.
• When using images as sources of inspiration key into what you like about an image.
• Try to contextualise what you are seeing to the place you're working with.
• The bigger picture is the story or the overall atmosphere you're trying to create, and the smaller items make up that picture.
• Think about why you're doing this. Take some time to focus on the story you're going to tell.
