The art of getting dressed every morning should make you feel special. Jordan and Russell show you their dressing room, encouraging you to break boundaries in your home and make the most of the space you have.

Lesson Summary

• Jordan and Russell wanted a space that felt like a retail experience.
• If you can double up on a function, have a dressing room which is also a guest room.
• They chose the room with the least amount of natural light to be used as a dressing room.
• They've filled the space with as much joinery as possible and hidden some of it by colour blocking.
• They added a pelmet detail to the wood, echoing spaces downstairs, unifying the home.
• They used a neon latex fabric to the cover for the shoe wardrobe.
• The rainbow bench was a collaboration with Ercol.
• They've added a mannequin to give that shop fantasy.
• The dressing table has a beautiful arch around it, bouncing light into the room.
• The room has a feeling of a catwalk and this has been down by creating a two-tone carpet.
• Lighting wise, there are LED strip lights within the wardrobe to light up the shoes.
• In the deep blue side of the room, there are also LED light strips.

• The green curtains were made by The London Curtains Girls and the fabric is from Kvdrattextiles.
• The pink chair is by the Sé collection.
• The walls have been painted in Mylands Rose Theatre.
• The radiator is from Bisque radiators and has also been painted in Rose Theatre.
• The carpet is from Brintons carpets.
