Willow uses the ancient Japanese art of Kokedama to create a magnificent Jasmine arrangement.
The ancient Japanese art of Kokedama involves removing all of the soil from a plant and replacing it with a bonsai compost mix. Since this is a messy job, it's best to do it outside or on newspaper.
I used mustard, hyacinth, and paperwhite flowers, as well as orchids, air plants, and succulents, to produce Kokedama. I recommend choosing plants that don't require a lot water. Try to remove as much soil as possible from the bottom of the jasmine pot by squeezing it out, then wash away any remaining dirt.
I combine compost and bonsai soil in a 2:1 ratio. I add water to the compost and bonsai soil. Make a ball the size of the plant's roots Twist the ball in half, then take the plant and wrap the roots around it.
Make sure you have your moss on hand. Place the moss on top of the ball and cover it in the moss. I use twine to wrap the moss around the compost and soil mix. Be conscious of the plants you choose and the environment in which you live. When properly watered, the Kokedama should feel heavier. They become lighter when they dry. I suggest watering a jasmine plant every few days by submerging it in a bucket of water until it stops bubbling.
