Planting Seeds
Start simple. A few seeds germinating on your windowsill is a fantastic place to begin. You want fresh compost as it is full of nutrients and goodness.
If you don't have a greenhouse you can get an electrical propagator. Sunflowers, black sunflowers, larkspurs, cosmos, and sweet peas are great seeds for beginners. Vermiculite may be used to aid with drainage and to give your seeds a boost. It isn't essential though! I use a small seed tray and another tray to catch soil.
