Willow runs you through another beautiful tulip arrangement.
01 Choose an appropriate location for your tulip vase
You should place your tulip vase in indirect sunlight. Make sure to stay out of direct sunlight, heat, or drafts, such as those that come from the air conditioner.
02 The stems should be recut
The stems should be cut at least an inch from the previous cut while holding them underwater at a 45-degree angle. To ensure your vase is filled to the brim with water, remove all foliage below the waterline.
03 The water should be changed
It's a good idea to replace the vase's water every other day. If the vase has been discoloured, wash it thoroughly before adding flowers to it.
04 Keep them cool
Tulips can remain fresh for longer if you store them in a cool place overnight.
---
The tulips used in this lesson are pink parrot tulips. Don't be afraid to experiment with the tulips. Remember to play about and have loads of different heights when arranging. This makes an arrangement look very wild and natural. If the arrangement is going on a dining table, make sure to look and see what it looks like from various angles.
When making arrangements of one colour, it's good to choose tonal variations to avoid it looking flat. Paring this arrangement with cream or pink tall candles is always beautiful.
