The Multi-Functional Room
The ideal multi-functional bedroom for me is to have a very good size bed, ideally a 2-meter bed, and then to have a sitting area and another corner for having supper or lunch. Round tables look great in corners. Another area with perhaps a writing table, where you can deal with your correspondence, is also a great idea and the height of luxury.
Multi-Purpose Family Rooms
I love multi-purpose family rooms where you can place a sofa that is comfortable with a large television. In a multi-purpose family room, you need an area for eating, an area for watching tv, and an area for doing some work.
I like to have a chaise-lounge with a stool in front of it where one can just read, relax or even sleep.
