The Timeless Home
The home is so important to us, yet we tend to take it for granted. Doing up your own house up can intimidate as it may generate a lot of insecurity.
Rather than having a fashion-led interior, I recommend creating a classic look that will last for 10-15 years. The bones and structure should remain timeless. No matter what you like, there is a timeless look that relates to it.
A Home That Feels Like Home
A timeless home for me feels and looks like a home. Use shapes and patterns that are more classical, and dress up your rooms with smaller things that are more current, relating to the fashion today.
The Timeless Ensemble
For me, a timeless home looks like it has quite a few things that don't go together but work as an ensemble. Some things may have been inherited from different generations of your family. Put together, they work well. They've got to look as if they were all put together.
