What You'll Need
You can use the same tools and materials you used for the other projects. The only new piece of equipment to source is the circular frame.
Essential Tools
• A frame
Any circular frame is suitable. It could be an embroidery hoop or a metal frame from an unused lampshade. Choose a diameter that corresponds to the size of the placemat you want to make.
• T-shirt yarn for the weft yarn
You can use just one colour, or multiple colours.
• String or yarn for the warp strings
I will be use a natural jute string in this project.
More Essential Tools:
- scissors
- needle
- fork.
Optional Specialised Equipment:
- thread snip scissors.
