It's time to begin making the placemat. We'll start with the basic weaving technique you will be familiar with by now.
STEP 1: Choose the yarn you want to be in the centre of your placemat and cut a suitable length.
STEP 2: As it is tight between the warp strings here, you can either use a needle to weave with or just use your fingers. If you are using a needle, thread it with your weft yarn.
STEP 3: For this type of loom, you will not be threading the weft between the warp strings. Instead, the two warp strings that sit one above the other will count as one. Begin weaving, going under and over each pair of strings. Tuck the beginning end through to the back of the loom.
STEP 4: When you reach the point at which you began, you have done your first row. As your loom has an odd number of strings, you can carry on weaving continuously following the same weaving sequence.
STEP 5: Push the weft yarn down using a fork so it's tight to the centre, pulling any excess created through the loom.
STEP 6: Continue weaving for as long as you want that colour.

The best adventure. I like all the courses, but my favorite are both Rita Konig interior design courses and Anna Jones. Excellent!
