Tableware and Vintage Fabric: Red Chair
One of my favourite stores to visit in Hudson, Red Chair is located on Warren Street - it's a great place to visit if you're hunting for interesting tableware and ceramics.
Choosing Tableware
- Look for designs that draw your eye and are unusual, but also try to stick within your chosen colour palette to ensure your collection is cohesive.
- Whenever you are shopping, always take lots of pictures - as you can then present your findings to clients.
Vintage Fabrics
- Buying vintage fabric is a lovely thing to do, and can be used in a variety of ways - cushions, blinds or even upholstery.
Rag Rugs
- I love to use rag rugs in a bathroom as an alternative to a traditional bath mat.
- They also work brilliantly as stair runners. If one isn't long enough, you can combine a few together - just ensure the colours in each one complement the others.
