The Installation - Part 2
I often think of installation day as 'the moment of truth' - everything you have planned and designed starts to become reality and hopefully works just as you intended.
- As much as you can plan and preempt how something will work in a room, there will always be things that aren't quite as you expected when they arrive and this is completely normal. The mark of a good decorator is being able to adapt the plan and work out what is best in reality.
- Make sure to set aside a little bit of budget at the end to make any adjustments that may arise during installation.
- It can be easy to succumb to nerves as you approach installation, but try to sweep away this anxiety as best you can and keep a level head until you have the full picture. If there are any issues still unresolved at the end of the process, you can approach them calmly and trust that everything will be sorted.
