Once you have gone through the budgeting stage, and have established exactly what work is being done for what cost, you will now be looking at your final plan. This is the opportunity to take stock and double check you are getting what you set out to achieve.
Final Planning Stages
With budgets agreed upon and the planning entering its final stages, now is the time to really do your last checks and hunker down into the finer details.
Things to check are:
- Do you have enough cupboard space, and are the dimensions correct for what you need to store?
- Is 'traffic' being driven the right way, and does the flow between rooms encourage this?
- Can you fit in the key pieces of furniture you want to have?
- Are the doorways and openings to rooms in the correct place?
- Have you allocated enough budget to creating comfort?
