Introducing The School House
The School House is really our first and only home, and we have lived here for over 30 years. My husband and I moved here in 1991 as a newly married couple wanting to build a home for our family and explore our creativity.
We first bought the cottage, which we renovated into a three-bedroom home. We then bought the barn next door 15 years later.
Over the next few lessons, I'll be showing you how we transformed the space into a timeless home that has grown with our family and evolved with our design style.
I'll be focusing on how we leaned into a timeless use of colour and texture, as well as how to choose materials to create a home with real longevity.
