Once you have cut out any required additional sections, you can pin them to the main body of fabric, pattern matching if necessary.

Part 9- Pinning Pieces of Fabric Together
Once you have cut out any required additional sections, you can pin them to the main body of fabric, pattern matching if necessary.
- To begin joining a new section to your main body of fabric, place both pieces front to front. Fold back the top piece of fabric until you can see the point where the two pieces match. Take your time to play around with making sure the pattern matches exactly all the way down the length of the fabric and press a fold along this line.
- Carefully fold the top fabric back and use chalk to mark all the way along this fold on the back of the fabric. Then use pins to follow the line and join both pieces of fabric together.
- Repeat this process to position and pin the additional width (if you have it) on the other side.
- Set this to one side while you begin work on your piping.
